TRI - ISLAND TRIP FROM HAVANA: ITINERARY IN DETAIL
Day 1 - Sat.
- Arrive in POS in transit to Grenada.
- Warm Grenadian welcome.
- Fast track through baggage pick-up and customs.
- Welcome cocktail and dinner at the hotel on its deck looking out over the bay to the horizon and a sunset.
Day 2 - Sun.
Let’s hit the road touring through the Island’s west coast stopping at the Nutmeg Co-operation, Diamond Chocolate Factory, a cocoa estate, Grand Etang Lake and Annadale Waterfalls, eating lunch en route at a local converted estate house restaurant.
Day 3 - Mon.
Time for seafaring fun; enjoy Grenada’s rum, champagne and seafood sail on a catamaran; drink, eat and dive amid the renowned underwater sculpture park (even if you are not a swimmer).
Day 4 - Tue.
Enjoy a flex day for optional shopping, beach, or just relaxing at the Hotel or maybe taking in a spa treatment.
Day 5 - Wed.
Depart to Port of Spain.
Overnight at Hilton Hotel, Port of Spain
Day 6 - Thu.
Today is for an exhilarating zip lining adventure 100 ft. above the treetops plus walks along canopy trails offering panoramic views of the city; stopping for a hike to a nearby waterfall then taking a swim and a little snorkeling at Macqueripe Bay; on the way back you stop at the historical Fort George that overlooks St. James the city, and the Gulf of Paria. (Included, entrance fees, light refreshments and transportation).
Dinner at local restaurant.
Day 7 - Fri.
Depart for Barbados
Arrive at Grantley Adams International Airport Transfer to Accra Resort and Spa (transfer included).
Spend the evening in famous Oisten’s Bay where you are completely immersed into the Bajan food culture.
Followed by an OPTIONAL introduction to the Bajan vibes at a nearby night club (cost not included).
Day 8 - Sat.
Take a Bajan tour into Barbados’ famous Harrison’s Cave where you experience the subterranean environment on a tramway; stopping on the way back at the Mount Gay Rum Factory where you will explore the makings of this ‘essence on ice’ and taste what is said to be the oldest rum in the world.
Lobster Alive dinner with Jazz and Steel Pan or Celebration of Rhythm Bajan Heritage Show A fun evening of Bajan History and culture, dancing and good Food. (Additional drinks at own cost).
Day 9 - Sun.
Luxuriate in a little sleep in, and enjoy your surroundings from your balcony.
Head on out in the evening to the Atlantis Submarine Night Dive to view some of the beautiful coral reef of the Caribbean Sea up to 150 ft. down with spot lights as you sip on a cocktail peering at the fish through the port hole.
Day 10 - Mon
Late start today for a short tour to the Chocolate Factory to learn about the history and foundations of chocolate; its origins and process of making artisan chocolate from bean to bar, as you taste samples of this dark Bajan chocolate and have the opportunity to purchase your favourite.
Follow above with a brief historical tour of the city including a light lunch at a local restaurant.
Day 11 - Tue.
Depart for return to Havana via Port of Spain.
